Practices: sweat lodge or sauna, running, shaking, planting seeds + tending to your garden (hands in dirt), spring cleaning, conscious connected breathing, sitting with yourself - contemplate distractions from silence + stillness... sometimes screaming in your car feels good too. :)

This week- I kind of checked out. I spent minimal time on my computer, I repotted all of my house plants, organized my containers for my outdoor veggie garden, planted seeds, and spring cleaned the shit out of my house. It felt SOOO good and so important. I needed a break from thinking about certain aspects of my life... I needed to create space to breathe away from my daily- to gain some perspective and potentially set myself up for a massive realignment.
It's been a fierce week. I have felt edgy, irritable, and there has been a LOT of energy moving through me. I am very aware of this personal and collective energy- so I have been consciously moving- taking my big energy and putting it to good (and productive!) use so that it is directed in a good way. It feels a bit like a culmination of sorts... New beginnings are about to burst forward, but I still don't know what they are. Even if I still can't see through the fog, I am confident that everything that needs to dissolve will. And for once... I am getting out of my own way.
I went to a traditional sweat for the first time today. It felt so good to be back in sacred, ceremonial space. It felt so good to be back in prayer. Sweating. Releasing. Sitting with myself. AND with a community of conscious, loving hearts.
Two messages have been coming forward:
1. You have to get out of your own way so that spirit can move through you in the best way for the betterment and service of all. Let emotions and sensitivity move you- get out of your head and stop pretending like you know what's best (mental authority) and instead- trust your heart and feel your way forward. This is how spirit speaks and guides you!
2. Everything you need for your path is found within. You are a fully equipped piece of hardware with software upgrades available for you whenever you decide to look inside. To sit with yourself. To trust yourself.
And so... As we meet this potent full moon... an eclipse, a blood flower moon- we can all feel her. I have been feeling her for a week now... Moving in, ushering in changes that will likely sweep us off our feet. And, I suppose the question is- will we resist the change or will we get out of our own way? The path of surrender can be so humbling. But... Perhaps it's the only path worth living- to let go and let god, as they say. To remove yourself as a cog in the wheel and allow the risks of synchronicity and redirection take hold and reroute you to your highest path, your next conscious evolution- stop playing the role of mediocrity?!
And then, when we find ourselves tipped upside down and inside out, instead of grasping for all of our distractions and external resources to help us figure this all out- why don't we just sit with ourselves and check inside- I believe it's the lost treasure we have been looking for all our lives.
Wishing you big blessings for this transformative time... May you move with the grace of god in your breath- and breathe deeply in trust and reverence.
