Conscious Connected Breathwork is a scientific and spiritual practice to regulate the nervous system and enter altered states of consciousness.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a practice of returning to our natural, connected and flowing breath. CCB is a three part breathwork practice including: full, vibrant, active inhales, followed by surrendered, soft, “let go” exhales, connecting the inhale and exhale with no pause, and remaining conscious with the breath and present in the body the entire time.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a gentle practice to unveil and lift unprocessed emotion and trauma from the body at a cellular level. CCB teaches the practitioner to safely explore the realms of their own healing potential. By learning these techniques, they are able to breathe awareness and movement into past energy, emotion, and trauma, bringing it into the present state of being, giving them an opportunity to fully process and integrate the experience, and finally- fully release it.

How we breathe is how we live. By becoming more aware of various holding patterns of breath in the body, we can begin to understand and repattern for more health, vitality, and freedom in the body, mind, and heart. This practice heals all aspects of the self: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, tapping into all directions for empowered, holistic healing of the conscious being.

CCB helps to bring the nervous system back into a state of peace and calm. Most humans are living in a sympathetic nervous state all the time, consistently in fight, flight, or freeze responses, protecting the body and system on high survival mode. Stress and stored trauma are at an all time high, causing a multitude of health and wellness issues. Now, more than ever, it is imperative to have tools to bring the nervous system back into the parasympathetic states of rest and digest, where we can calm and bring peace and deep healing to our body, mind, and soul.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is both a psycho-emotional therapeutic practice and an opportunity to dive deep into curious exploration and insight from non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Q&A

Q. How does Breathwork work?

A: Breathwork increases the oxygen supply in our system which activates more brain power, increases energy levels, lifts and releases past trauma and emotion, and expands our awareness internally and externally. Breathwork also facilitates a powerful detoxification process as 70% of our toxins are released through our breath! If we are not breathing at full capacity it is safe to say that we are not functioning at full capacity.

Q: Why does it work?

A: Breathwork gives us an opportunity to restore our connection to our life force. We depend on our breath to live: without our breath, we have about 4 minutes to survive. Respiration is our most vital system. By consciously reconnecting to it we are increasing our attention and awareness and therefore our capacity to live a more full and healthy life. Long held trauma is often stored in the body. Through focused breathwork we can release this energy at a cellular level in a safe and good way. This release of past energy, emotion, and trauma allows the body to create new space for more positive energy, enabling a sense of deep release, freedom, and vitality. With expanded awareness we are able to see more clearly, listen more closely, and trust our intuition, allowing us to make more empowered choices.

Q: What issues can breathwork help resolve?

A: Our body holds our experiences just as much as our brain, if not more. When we go through an experience, especially if it is traumatic in any way, often we are not able to fully process this event, which results in an incomplete processing of the experience. Breathwork is a powerful tool for accessing this stored suppressed or repressed energy. Through the breath, we are able to release any unprocessed energy stored within the body- releasing past emotions and trauma held in the tissue.  This is so important because often these suppressed/ repressed feelings and emotions and unprocessed experiences manifest into dis-ease or illness. This stagnant energy can be moved with the breath resulting in complete release of any stored energy. Breathwork can support all healing processes, it is our most potent medicine tool.
